Gryffindor House Awards

Gryffindor house has put together a list of awards to recognize the achievements of our house. All Gryffindor Awards are separated according to how often they are given. Awards are given either every once a month, every term, or at the end of the year.

Montly Awards

Lion of the Month: This award is given to the student in Gryffindor that displays the best is the most active student in gryffindor and that works to keep the site active. This is the same thing as Lion of the Month, ran by Professor Lena Volkan.

Term Awards

Lion Hearted: This award is given to the student in Gryffindor that best displays bravery throughout the entire term.

King of the Castle: Lions are known as "Kings of the Jungle", however since Gryffindor's live within the castle this award is given to the gryffindor that works to make gryffindor the best house.

Silver Sword of Service: This award is given to any Gryffindor that constantly gives of themself to better gryffindor house.

Golden Virtue: The Golden Virtue is awarded to the gryffindor that is not only brave but chilvarus which is another main gryffindor trait that is not well known.

Quidditch MVP: This award is given at the end of the year to the gryffindor team player who is the most valuable player for that season.

Yearly Awards

Order of Godric: The Order of Godric is the highest award anyone in the Gryffindor House can receive. This award is given each year to the member (student or professor) who is the epitome of Godric and of the Brave House of Gryffindor.

Ginny Tonks Award: Prof. Ginny Tonks was a long standing Head of Gryffindor House. The award is given in memory of all the time and all the hard work she spent on Gryffindor throughout her time here.
